Kick-off meeting VEREAD
On 26 and 27 September, Nairobi (Kenya) hosted the kick-off meeting of VEREAD, a new network of European and African universities in which TUA participates. VEREAD stands for Virtual Exchanges in Religious Euro-African Dialogue. On behalf of TUA, J.A. (Jacob) Karels MA ( policy officer for research) attended. The aim of this new network, set up with a grant from the European Commission (Erasmus+), is to create an exchange programme in which students from participating universities can follow online modules in the field of theology and religious studies. TUA's contribution will be the (online) training of lecturers from the various universities in the field of online didactics. A wonderful opportunity to make the knowledge and experience in this field from the Chair of Christian Pedagogy (Prof Dr A. de Muynck) fruitful worldwide!
