A.J. Dorst appointed as the new President of the Executive Board
It is with great pleasure that the Supervisory Board of the Theological University of Apeldoorn announces the appointment of A.J. (Arjan) Dorst MSc. as the new President of the Executive Board. His appointment will take effect on the 1st of August of this year. Mr Dorst will succeed W.J.A. Hanekamp MSc., who hopes to retire on the 1st of July. Mr Dorst is 57 years old and has won his spurs in primary and higher education. He is currently the chairman of the Board of Governors of the PCPO Capelle-Krimpen Foundation. He is a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Capelle aan den IJssel. Together with the current rector, Prof. H.J. Selderhuis, and as of 1 January 2023 with the new rector, Prof. M.J. Kater, they will form the Executive Board of the TUA. Rector Prof. Selderhuis: "With this appointment, the beautiful work of, and at the TUA can continue energetically."
In response to his appointment, Mr Dorst said he considers it a challenge and a privilege to serve the church and God's Kingdom in his new role. We wish him God's blessing in this new office.
